Kenneth is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature in Uganda of 10 years standing, a Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public and a Receiver/Insolvency Practitioner;
Kenneth is a co. Founder/Partner at Springs Advocates and heads the Commercial and Litigation Departments of the Firm. He has for the last 5 years of his practice, practiced law at Nangwala Rezida & Co. Advocates.
Kenneth specializes in Commercial & Corporate law practice with specific interest in Board affairs, Litigation, Arbitration, Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Mergers and Acquisition, Banking and Finance, Employment Law among others. He has expertise in land Conveyancing practice, Land acquisition, conversion of tenures, protection of Foreigners Interests in Land, perfection of securities and carrying out due diligence on land titles among others.
Kenneth is also passionate about the Construction industry, where he is widely experienced in Construction claims and Dispute Resolution either through main stream Litigation or Arbitration. He has advised on a number of Construction Projects and doubled as a Dispute Resolver. Kenneth is commended on his ability to understand the disputes early in the process and is regularly lauded on his clear and erudite discussions/legal advice to the Parties.
He has great knowledge in management of the contractual relationships between the Employers, Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers of various construction materials/equipment to the Project.
Kenneth underwent training in Trial Advocacy, Islamic Banking and Finance, Construction Claims and Management, Arbitration, Mediation, Insolvency Practice among others.
He is a Board member/Company Secretary on a number of Companies to which he offers legal support and advise on emerging/trending Business management modules.
Kenneth is also a member of Nakasongola District Land Board, a member of the National Negotiation Consultative Council under the Ministry of Public Service of Uganda, as well as a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
Outside the Firm, Kenneth is a Rotarian and one of the founding members of the Rotary Club of Kasana-Luwero in Formation. He also enjoys Sports specifically Football, swimming and enjoys spending time with Family.
